2019 NASCAR Road Race
(Mail In Event)
All Stock, NASCAR models racing head-to-head on the Northshore Hills
STOCK CLASS - This means there can be NO modifications to your car for this
event. (Powder graphite lubricant on the stock wheels and axles is permitted)
(Custom Paint and Decals are allowed on the outside of the car as long as they
don't add any considerable weight to the car as determined by the DCR Officials)
NASCAR Models - Only certain cars will be allowed for this road race event.
STICK TO THESE MODEL CARS ON THIS LIST ONLY:
HEAD TO HEAD - Both cars get one run in each lane / equal runs in each lane.
(determining the winner in a head-to-head race)
1. If one car wins in each lane on the first two runs, the result is a simple "2 Run" victory for the winning car and it gets to advance to the next round.
2. If one car wins one run and they both fail to finish (DNF) on the other run, the result is a "single win" victory for the car that won a single run.
3. If both cars win once out of their first two runs, then we have a tie, also known
as a "SPLIT" and the cars re-set and run a "second set" of runs, once in each lane again. At this point if one car wins in each lane on the next two runs, the result is asimple "2 Run" victory for the winning car and it gets to advance to the next
round. If one car wins one and they both fail to finish on the other run, the result
is a "single win" victory for the car that won a single run. If they both "SPLIT" againon their "second set" of runs, then they move onto the "ADVANTAGE" round.
4. ADVANTAGE ROUND: The first car to take a two win advantage over the other
car wins, regardless of whether they have had equal runs in each lane. Cars will
alternate between lanes after every run even if the run ended in a double DNF.
